Replacing Mercedes S550 Ball Joint Boot of Front Lower Rear Control Arm

Senior Leigh • 14 January 2020

Mercedes does not provide the repair method if the ball joint boot was broken. They only way they provide is replacing the control arm. That's not only expensive away than just replacing the boot. Also need car lift to tight the bushing of control arm at "ready to drive" position, and alignment, etc.... After much research, I decided only to replace the ball joint boot and found a boot might fit the ball joint.

Here is the video I replaced the boot of my control arm.
