Can a bad alternator cause random misfire?

Scanner tell me it's the driver side airbag. I have checked all connections and checked resistance of the driverside airbag it the same as the passenage side.Unpluged passenage side it gave me a code was able to reset it with no problems. Anyone have any suggestions. Thanks 2004-2012 (E81, E82, E87, E88) 62,500miles

I have a E88 bmw 135I scanner tell me i have a code 93AC it's the driver side airbag. I have checked all connections and checked resistance of the driverside airbag it the same as the passenage side.Unpluged passenage side it gave me a code was able to reset it with no problems.Can not find the problem would value any help.
