won't shift into park

My 2011 E350 doesn't go into PARK.  I have been told that I need a servo motor.  How much is this and can my mechanic replace this or do I need to go the the MB dealer?

There could be problems in the levels of fluid in the gearbox. First, check if there is enough oil because lack of oil leads to malfunctioning of the gear. As far as servo motor is concerned, it will cost you around $14 and you can even get it online from platforms like Amazon. An auto mechanic should be able to do that, however, going to an MB dealership seems more appropriate as the staff is well aware of the do's and don'ts when it comes to repairing Mercedes.
